Project summary:
European Film Festival Palic (EFFP) celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2018 which was an excellent opportunity for the recapitulation of previous results and success and also beginning and announcement of new festival activities focused on the film education, cooperation with other film festivals, audience development, festival promotion tools and presentation of new festival organization team members.

Providing of the festival program with 95 films in following selections: Official Program, Parallels and Encounters, Young Spirit of Europe, Underground Spirit Award, Country in Focus, New Hungarian Film, Eco Dox, Homage program dedicated to winners Alexandar Lifka and additional film program, Classics on the Square, 120th Anniversary of First Film Screening on Balkans

Festival will be accomplished with many years long and satellite events in the field of education, film literacy, audience build, European film promotion and visibility like: Presentation of film selection from all programs in Belgrade Cinema Fontana, Film School, Film Club, Exhibition dedicated to countries in focus, Concerts, European film critics masterclass, Masterclass in film directing , Round tables and panels, Cooperation with other friendly festivals from Serbia.

The project of the Open University Subotica under the title “Raising performance and competitiveness and matching the demands of the economy and the offers of the labour market through public-private networking – MATCHDO” was selected for EU co-financing under the Lifelong Learning Programme’s Call for Proposals. 

The project “CityLog” is realized within the HU-SRB IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme. The partners on the project are the Open University Subotica and Del-alfoldi Regionalis Innovacios Ugynokseg Kozhasznu Egyesulet Szeged.

Two Local Democracy Agencies in Osijek and Subotica, in cooperation with 4 partner organizations (Open University Subotica, Association of Local Democracy Agencies, Croatian Institute for Local Government and the Evangelical Theological Seminary) are implementing a cross border project with the aim to support, improve and build capacities for enabling town twinning, networking of local authorities and smaller settlements from the areas of Osijek-Baranja County, Vukovar-Srijem County and the Counties of Bačka and Srem, by founding two operational Resource Centres.
