The project of the Open University Subotica under the title “Raising performance and competitiveness and matching the demands of the economy and the offers of the labour market through public-private networking – MATCHDO” was selected for EU co-financing under the Lifelong Learning Programme’s Call for Proposals.
 

The implementation will start on 1st April 2013, partners in the implementation are National Employment Service of the Republic of Serbia and the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Administration and National Communities of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. During the realization of the project a situation analysis will be made on unemployment and economy in Serbia, analysis of good practice from the EU, 8 round table discussions will be held on various cities on the territory of Serbia, a pilot training will be held for 10 young professionals in Subotica for the development of their personal skills, and based on the information and experiences gained during the implementation an Action Plan will be created on the matching offers of the labour market with the needs of the economy, which will then be presented to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development as well as to the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The project will last for 12 months.
