The project was realized in February 2007, in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad. The activities were directed towards the creation of educational materials and realization of training seminars for experts, consultants from agricultural departments, who got the opportunity to transfer the acquired knowledge in the field of new association models (Cooperatives, Associations, Clusters) and accounting and analysis of the costs and results in agriculture (Farm Bookkeeping – obligation or necessity supporting productivity improvement) directly to agricultural producers, farmers, associations and cooperatives, all with the aim of strengthening domestic production of agricultural alimentary products.
Through the implementation of this project, the Open University contributed to organization of a modern agricultural service, possessesing applicable knowledge and experience in contemporary agricultural production and farm bookkeeping, with the aim of improving the production process.
