In October 2009, GM of Open University Subotica, Mr Blažo Perović, signed a contract with president of Čoka municipality Mr Predragom Mijićem, which regulates development of Feasibility Study for Food Innovation Center in Čoka.

Preparation of the study represents integral part of the municipality Čoka project “Center for Food Innovations”, which is implemented in the framework of the Neghbourhood programme Hungary-Serbia, and its development has beed awarded to Open University Subotica, through out service procurement procedure.

The task of the contract is realization of the research on sample of  293 registered farms in Čoka municipality, analysis of the results, organization of 3 focus groups with representatives of Čoka in order to examine their attitudes towards formation of the Center.

Open University experts will prepare SWOT analysis, cost-benefit analysis and suggest possible structures for the Center and services which could be offered in the scope of its work.
