The project was implemented in partnership with TERRA’S Association during 2006 and 2007. The aim of the project was reduction of negative antropogenic impacts on the environment, primarily in Palić and Ludaš Lake protected areas, through introduction of citizens to existing national and local legislative standards, which are obligatory to practise in all protected natural areas in the Republic of Serbia.

Local communities Palić, Hajdukovo, Šupljak and Bački Vinogradi, citizens of which participated in the research which explored the aquaintance with the legislation and with the code of conduct in the protected natural areas, and in the trainings and inclusion in the process of introducing organic agriculture into their farms were involved in realization of the project.

Project activities were also directed towards the creation and realization of the public media campaign, preparation and publication of the Guide to Regulations, practical introduction of organic agriculture to protected natural areas and permanent monitoring of Palić and Ludaš Lake soil and water quality.
