The project was realized on the territory of the municipality of Subotica from September to December 2004. Participants in the project were 23 pre-school teachers from different cultural and ethnic belonging. Through educational seminar and workshops, the participants were acquainted with the concept and importance of interculturalism in multiethnic reality of the environment and developed interethnic approach to work with children, that is methods which, through everyday practice promote diversity as a great asset of this community

The aim of the project was support to development of intercultural thinking in pre-school teachers and implementation of intercultural methods in everyday work of kindergartens.

After the realization of the seminar and workshops, the attendees used newly acquired knowledge in everyday work and compiled a diary of the experiences. At evaluation meeting, all participants demonstrated their examples of good practice and activities which were the most effective in the work with children, and presented them within a guide/digest, printed and distributed in the kindergartens of the Preschool Institution Naša radost on the territory of the municipality of Subotica.
