RELOAD project (Regional Elements in Logistics Opportunities - Assesment and Development) was realized in the period between June 2007 and June 2008, within the second call for proposals of the Hungary- Serbia Cross-border Co-operation Programme. The holders of the project were Subotica Open University and DARFT - Dél-Alföld Regional Development Agency from Szeged (Hungary). Partners from Serbia were: Provincial Secretariat of Economy of the AP Vojvodina, Regional Centre for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMER), Subotica, and ALMA MONS Regional Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, Novi Sad.

The overall goal of the project was the analysis of detected situation in the field of logistics in Vojvodina and Del-Alfold region, and creation of recommendations for its improvement, which would contribute to the development of small and medium enterprises and encourage harmonization of the planning and realization of economic activities in the cross-border region.

In the course of two work packages, SWOT analysis was performed at 12 locations in Vojvodina, where existing state was monitored and needs and potentials of these Vojvodina towns in the field of logistics development were recorded.

After the data collection was performed, an expert team made the Concept of Logistics Development in Vojvodina on the base of which Elements of Logistics Development Strategy and Common Elements in Logistics Development in Vojvodina and Hungarian Region Dél-Alföld were created.
The project contributed to strenghtening the partnership of logistic centres’ in the region and profitability of logistic services of small and medium enterprises.
