The applicants of the project Partnership Centre for Clusters and Enterprises – PACCLE are the Open University Subotica Ltd, and the company DAR Nonprofit Public Ltd from Szeged and Szeged Polus Development Nonprofit Ltd.

 

The general objective of the project PACCLE is the contribution to the development of partnerships among cross-border innovative enterprises and clusters as well as long term economic development of cross-border region.


Specific objectives of the project are:

  • Identifying needs of the business sector for services and information, with the aim to create service structure that will support the business sector to cooperate and to strengthen existing partnerships. 
  • Foundation of a partner centre that will present the professional base for interested companies and to their associates. The Partner Centre will assist individual and partner development of innovative SMEs that are open for cooperation through personalized and up to date training and advisory activities.
  • The direct aim of the training besides strengthening partnership and presenting communication and cooperation of institutions that give financial support to clusters and other entrepreneurial partnerships, with the aim to harmonise the sources of funding intended for the same region.
  • Creation of a partner web platform, which will assist stakeholders to be informed about the possibilities for cooperation and connections. Also, the aim is to create a database and a joint portal, which will secure all data and information to interested companies on one place. This way the communication will be eased and a chance will be given to participants of the project to connect through virtual incubation. 


Direct target group of the project within the organizations operating in the cross-border region:

  • Clusters with thorough experience operating in the field of bio-technology, healthcare, software industry, renewable energy and publishing industry
  • Newly formed clusters and developing clusters
  • Cluster-management organizations
  • Small and medium sized enterprises
  • Institutions responsible for development, former development agencies, chambers of commerce, local authorities

  • Foundation of the Partner Centre in Subotica
  • Thematic workshops
  • Study tours
  • Multilingual brochure, TV and radio strips, partner web portal, press releases, press conferences
  • Promotion Days of the Partner Centre in Subotica
  • Opening and closing conference

 

Duration of the project: 14 months
The project officially started on 1st September 2010.
