Project summary:

Main objective of the project IT community region is reduction of the youth unemployment through development of IT entrepreneurship and increasing of interest for freelancing concept as well as growth of IT business cooperation in CB region. The project main objective adequately corresponds with the overall programme goal in the segment of economic development and strengthening competitiveness and business environment through joint interventions. Development of IT entrepreneurship and freelancing in CB region will strengthen and increase competitiveness thus influencing economic development of complete region. Cooperation of project partners – business support institutions, education and research organisations and target groups - entrepreneurs, students and unemployed will result in growth of IT entrepreneurship in CB region and further development of new services and directly improvement of region competitiveness, which are all elements of priority specific objective.

Project outputs are:
1. Development of IT knowledge and skills in CB region through 13 educational contents for 460
attendees
2. Development of 1 CB e-learning platform
2. Development of 2 competence centres
3. Connecting of freelancers and IT SMEs in the CB region in the CB framework with virtual incubator services, knowledge sharing tools and e-cluster framework
4. Development of IT support infrastructure
