The City of Subotica is celebrating the 235th anniversary of existence and on this occasion the City Administration is organizing a colorful cultural and entertaining program, which focuses mainly on the citizens of Subotica. The Open University was glad to join this initiative and prepared an exciting program for the citizens.
The representatives of the Open University attended a consultation on Monday, 16th June in the Chemical-technological School, which was held within the project “Secondary schools of profession as leaders of local economic development”, which is implemented by the Belgrade Open School.
The third exhibition of caricatures and comics will be opened with the title „Myth and prejudice – how we see Europe and how Europe sees us“ in the Gallery of the Open University Subotica on Friday, 16th May at 2 PM.
The Festival Free Zone is setting off its 9th tour visiting 40 cities in Serbia. The festival will arrive on 9th May in Subotica, to the Eurocinema and there will be 7 films projected, which were voted for by the audience in Belgrade as the best movies on the 9th festival, which had 17.000 viewers in November 2013. The films will be screened between 8th till 14th May at 7 PM, the entrance will be free of charge.
The French Film Caravan will visit our cinema on 5th May, this time with French classics. This will be a great treat to all film lovers and French cinematography admirers, as well as a great opportunity for those wanting to learn more about French cinematography. Entrance is free.
