Eco Dox

Within the past several years we have witnessed the expansion of documentaries dealing with ecology. In addition to the great engagement and development of the awareness of the issues they deal with, authors of these films are increasingly expressing their own attitude, protest and appeal. Aspiring to contribute to raising the ecological awareness and protection of the environment, European Film Festival – Palić has included a selection of European documentaries on ecology in the accompanying programme of the Festival since 2008.

ECO DOX programme aims to put the focus on the most current ecological challenges of the mankind and to provide insight into them from yet another perspective through the screening of five recent European documentaries on enviromental protection, lectures and round table discussions.

Many problems and challenges people face all over the planet (changes in ecosystems, climate changes, extinction of nations due to natural disasters, life after nuclear pollution, etc) have been presented and brought closer within this programme, with the aim to provoke festival audience to think and act in the field of environmental protection.
