In the first quarter of 2021 the Open University Subotica, as one of the partners, began the implementation of two projects from the Erasmus + Programme. Both projects are related to bring Schools and Culture and Creative Sector (CCS) into a Partnership for Creativity that will empower students with innovation and entrepreneurial skills, as well as trigger creativity and active citizenship.

In the first quarter of 2021 the Open University Subotica, as one of the partners, began the implementation of two projects from the Erasmus + Programme. Both projects are related to bring Schools and Culture and Creative Sector (CCS) into a Partnership for Creativity that will empower students with innovation and entrepreneurial skills, as well as trigger creativity and active citizenship.

Project “Social and Cultural Innovation Labs” is realized in partnership with: Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), Stimmuli for Social Change (Greece), Asociacion Cultural Comenzemos Empezemos (Spain), Social Cooperative Enterprise Cinesthesia (Greece). The mission of the project is to bring Schools and Culture and Creative Sector (CCS) into a Partnership for Creativity that will be based upon the educational philosophy of Social Innovation Education (SIE). Total project budget is 193.445,00 EUR and the implementation period is March 2021 – February 2023.

Project “Creatives Academy: Blending best practice from creative and arts education and entrepreneurial education to build the competences needed for creative futures” is realized in partnership with: Social Enterprise International Ltd.(United Kingdom), Horizon Community College (United Kingdom), Stimmuli for Social Change (Greece), The Square Dot team (Belgium). During the implementation of the project partners will harness the knowledge and skills of current professionals in the CCS to inspire and educate the students of today and empower them with innovation and entrepreneurial skills, so that they can become the creative, innovative and resilient professionals of the future. Total project budget is 234.820,00 EUR and the implementation period is April 2021 – March 2023.
