From 4th to 11th of March, starting at 8pm in „Eurocinema“, film SOUL KITCHEN (GER 2009) from the director Fatih Akin, winner of the Special jury award and “Young cinema” award at Venize film festival 2009, will be shown.

Young restaurant owner, Zinos, was left by his long-term girlfriend Nadine. As he was spending time in his restaurant, instead of being with her, she decides to accept a job that she was offered in Shanghai. As she leaves, Zinos falls into crisis and decides to sell the restaurant, which definitely had better days. "Soul Kitchen" doesn’t have a lot of guests lately, and Vilhelmzburg, district in which the restaurant is based, is far from the urban heart of Hamburg. Zinos, not knowing what to do, decides to follow Nadine and therefore tries to sell the restaurant. Before he even notices - three weeks are left until its closure. During these three weeks complete anarchy reigns in the restaurant - chef cooks what he always wanted, a new DJ plays the music to which the guests dance after having meal, artists exhibit their works - and the guests all like it! Rumors of cult restaurant "Soul Kitchen" are slowly beginning to spread around Hamburg. At the last party Zinos realizes that selling the restaurant was a mistake. And when he realizes that, at the place where restaurant now is, a shopping center will be built, Zinos starts the battle to gain back the "Soul Kitchen" ...
