The European Film Festival Palić will be presented in Paris at the L'Europe autour de l'Europe Festival (Europe around Europe) through its short film selection of last year and several scheduled premiers for this year.

The screenings from the European Film Festival Palić will take place on 5th April in the L'Entrepot cinema by Montparnasse in Paris.
As announced by the European Film Festival Palić the reason for this presentation is the 10th anniversary of the Young Spirit of Europe programme, which is focusing on new, fresh and brave directors with unique imprint investigating new film forms.

According to the selector of the Young Spirit of Europe, Petar Mitrića this recognition of quality is very significant for the culture in Serbia, especially since this is the result of a research of many years, which contributes to the whole of the European cinematographic heritage.

“The Europe around Europe festival is an important cinematographic point focusing on the true lovers of the seventh art, and it has a structured public in need for challenge and new tendencies in film”, stressed Mitrić.

There will be Serbian author guests at the festival in Paris, Stefan Ivančić with the film "Soles De Primavera" and Szabolcs Tolnai with the new short film “Flower of evil” premiering at the festival.

Beside the Young Spirit of Europe selection, the European Film Festival Palić will also present its winners of the Underground Spirit Award from 2013, the Buharov Brothers. This award was introduced in 2007 for the outstanding work in the field of independent filmmaking as a part of the Young Spirit of Europe programme.
The 21st edition of the European Film Festival Palić will be held from 19th till 25th July this year. There will be more than 100 films screened in 10 selections with the presence of many authors and guests.
