The unique exhibition “Worlds and Heroes” dedicated to Serbian puppetry and children’s theaters will open on 20th March at 6 PM, on the World Theatre for Children and Young People Day, in the Theatre for Children and Young People “Kolibri” in Craiova, Romania.

The theatre “Kolibri” is organizing the Week of Theatre, marking the World Theatre for Children and Young People Day (20th March), the World Puppetry Day (21st March) and the World Theatre Day (27th March). The program will start on 20th and will last till 30th March 2014, and it will start with the opening of the “World and Heroes” exhibition, which will be the main visiting event.

This exhibition was created for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Subotica International Festival of Children’s Theatres, in the meantime it’s part of the European project, the Puppet Nomad Academy 3, which was financed by the European Commission within the Culture program 2007-2013. The exhibition was presented in Ljubljana (National Museum of Slovenia, April/May 2013), in Zagreb (the International Festival of Puppet Theatres – PIF, Travno Culture Centre, September 2013), in Subotica (20th International Festival of Children’s Theatres, May 2013), in Novi Sad (28th September – 8th October 2013, Gallery of Fine Arts – gift collection of Rajko Mamuzić), in Belgrade (30th January – 28th February 2014, Gallery of the Children’s Culture Centre Belgrade) and in Šid (from 4th till 17th March of this year).
