The representatives of the Open University attended a consultation on Monday, 16th June in the Chemical-technological School, which was held within the project “Secondary schools of profession as leaders of local economic development”, which is implemented by the Belgrade Open School.

Beside the representatives of the Open University, the consultation was attended by the representatives of the Chemical-technological School, City Administration and employers from the sector of agriculture, production and food processing operating on the territory of Subotica.
The aim of the project “Secondary schools of profession as leaders of local economic development” is to contribute to local economic development and youth employment. Also, the aim of the project is to enable a dialogue between employers and secondary schools in the context of work force development in line with the current and future demands of economy. The goal of the organizers was to come to new proposals for the development of partner relations in secondary school of profession education and local economy and the labor market, through presenting successful examples of cooperation between schools and the economy, as well as possible challenges.
