BIOFEST is organized by TERRA'S Association and the Open University along with the sponsorship of the City of Subotica, and the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Foresting and Water Management and the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, and supported by the following: the Kolping Society of Serbia and the German organization for international cooperation – GIZ.

The focus of this year's meeting is the uniting of farmers, processors and other interest groups, with the aim to promote economic efficiency in production and increase the competitiveness of organic products, on the domestic as well as the EU market.
 

The Programme activities during the two-day manifestation are the following:

- Exhibition of organic products;

- Presenting the traditional acknowledgments;

- Panel discussions;

- Visits to organic farms;

- Tasting of organic food and promoting the principles of proper nutrition;
